Xmas have just passed not long ago. Ytd, my boyf was telling me that he wanted t get me th cam as xmas gift for me but he was afraid that I would scold him for spending so much. So he suggested that we should go take a look at th cam tgt. We was at Vivo, then we went ard t search for J1 in pink. Was being told that it has alrd sold out again & again. We decided t go Funan DigitaLife Mall instead, went t Harvey Norman first. Th sales personnel assisted us in trying out all th diff cams and I tried J1! Was being told that pink colour will be more expensive as it's limited edition. After trying J1, I kinda doubt that th photo-quality worth th price. Was being introduced Samsung NX 200 which was said t be even better than Canon 600D, I was rlly doubtful of that. I mean like, if you ask anyone ard they would definitely tell you that Canon is a better camera brand that kinda thing. After trying NX 200, th person told us that EX 1 is not bad as well. When th cam was in my hand, I realise it comes w/ rotating screen!!! It's obvious that I love t camwhore, of coz I would love t have a rotating screen t look at when I'm taking photos right!!! Furthermore, my previous cam comes w/ dual lcd which allows me t take self-protraits. This can prove that how much I love t have th screen t look at before I snap.
Is thr any other cameras w/ rotating screen???!!! Yes, thr's Canon G12! Tried it & I rlly like how nice th photos look like on th screen, like everything seems so bright instantly! I rlly learned alot ytd, one of th thing that I learned was that Canon's cameras have stronger red light. Not sure if you get what I'm trying t say, but it's stronger in red light which is why th photos all look so bright. Thr're rlly too many choices t choose from, I couldn't make up my mind at all. :(
Boyf thinks that NX 200 was good, like better than all th other models that I'm considering but then I thot since it's like $1099. I might as well get a DSLR? Coz Canon 600D is like $1199 but on th other hand, dslr is rlly bulky. Imagine when you're overseas and you've t bring it everywhere you go... It'll definitely be a hassle man. I rlly like how th photos taken by 600D look like but I don't even know how t adjust all those settings & all. They're like strangers t me even though I see it before. I rlly want a rotating screen but I also want a better photos-quality cam. Everything can never be perfect you see. Gave up th thought of getting dslr, coz I seriously think that bringing that ard will be so troublesome. Initially, I wanted t get G12 coz I've th mindset that Canon will definitely be better than Samsung. Also b'coz of my past experience from my previous cam, it's like I can get a canon digital cam w/ th price as well which has better photo-quality I think after using my friend Cha's . After which, I was rlly reluctant t get Samsung's cam again. That's why when I was introduced NX 200, I rlly doubt that it's as good as what he said.
After much consideration, I decided t get either EX 1 or G12 coz I rlly love th rotating screen! Went back t Harvey Norman again after our dinner t make th final decision. Just when I make up my mind t buy G12, th sales personnel insisted that EX 1 is better. You all must be feeling puzzled as well right? He suggested that we print out th photos taken by both cameras & compare. I was like: 'Print outs not that important, it depends on how it looks like when it's uploaded t th comp.' He was quite nice coz he rlly helped me t transfer th photos t comp for me t compare. I decided t get EX 1 after comparing th photos. Although th photos rlly look nice on G12's screen but it's different when you transfer it t comp, it looks just th same as EX 1. But th noise is higher in th photo taken by G12. I think you all will know what's noise if you all do edit your photos, thr'll be like noise reduction edits that kinda thing. Was being convinced that I should get EX 1 in th end.
Getting my EX 1, it was suppose t be $549 but I managed t reduce th price t $508 inclusive of auto lens cap, extra battery, 2 memory cards, thumb drive, wiping cloth, & screen protector.
